Rouge Velvet is our love letter to 胭脂 — the deep, slightly purpled red that women painted on their lips in the Tang dynasty. We tie it from a tightly braided satin cord that holds its shape through a long day.
Sold as a mirrored pair so you can wear one on each side, or gift the second to someone you would lend lipstick to. Each clip is finished with a small wrapped knot at the base — the maker's signature.
Like all Mutique pieces, these are knotted by hand in tiny batches. Tiny irregularities are the point.
